CharterNet have taken the time to understand my personal and business accounting needs. They have set up processes that require minimal input from me due to my limited time. They are easy to communicate with and promptly respond to any questions I may have.

Areas for Improvement

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for all of us, however CharterNet were quite flexible and adapted well to the challenges that arose. Videoconferencing was the new norm and proved to be a good fit for me.

Simple answer - Kaitlyn, Katie, Sameer, Saeed. They do what they say they will do - a very valued commodity - I can rely upon them. I manage multiple businesses and I need things to go smoothly. In particular Kaitlyn - just makes life easy. Another thing that I really like is they are responsive - they answer the phone they are fast to get on top of something. It's more of a personal relationship also - I feel very comfortable bringing clients / my companies to CharterNet because I know that things will get done properly and effectively. It's how I would treat my clients - if someone calls me at 9pm and says I really need a call back - I will get one from Sameer or Saeed - that's value and client service.

Areas for Improvement

A little bit of expectation management and client management - this is nit picking though. I think really understanding or having a clear way to communicate about what is urgent and important and what can wait is important. Sometimes I think they are a little too accomodating on things that they might push back on and occasionally (v rarely really - 1 specific instance I can think of) are too laid back on timeframes. They could possibly be more proactive at the Manager / Partner level in planning - there are opportunities for them left on the table because they haven't picked up the phone (now that I think about it).
